Hi, Seahawks fans! It was another long day for us, filled with rehearsals, appearances and events.
Our morning began with breakfast, followed by a four-hour rehearsal. This was the first time we danced in our four squad lines: AFC 1, AFC 2, NFC 1, and NFC 2. I am in NFC 2 with Amy (Cardinals), Shannon (Rams), Tramane (Buccaneers), Pamela (Vikings) and Lauren (Eagles). We set our formations, transitions and ripples. By the end of practice, the routines were ready to perform at our community appearances.
Before we left for the day’s events, our Pro Bowl coordinators unveiled our official Pro Bowl Cheerleader poster! Seeing the words “NFL Pro Bowl Cheerleaders” on our photo really set this experience into reality.

After the unveiling, we were quickly on our way to our appearances. We visited the Boys and Girls Club in Fort Lauderdale and Franklin Park, where we performed sideline routines and signed autographs. The children gave us a very energetic welcome and even performed a cheer for us!
We also did TV and radio interviews, where we promoted our upcoming events and discussed the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl. Our presence here has definitely helped build excitement for both bowl games.
This evening the Pro Bowl players were given their official South Florida welcome at the Pro Bowl Player Reception. The cheerleaders enjoyed the wonderful food and beautiful Florida atmosphere at the event, but we could not stay long. We had a late rehearsal to prepare for our fashion show Thursday. In addition to walking in team-affiliated swimwear, we will be dancing on the runway in our team uniforms. We were told that the runway is suspended over a pool, so we have to be very careful.
Although I miss my teammates back home, I am having a great time with the other Pro Bowl Cheerleaders. We have grown so much as a squad already, and we still have the rest of the week ahead of us. We can’t wait for game day!
