NWCN Training Camp

When are Training Camp practices?
Once a day practices will take place at 3:30pm and twice a day practices will take place at 8:45am and 6:30pm.  Generally, once a day practices will alternate with two a day practices.  Not all practices will be open to the public. In addition, there will be two practices held at Husky Stadium that are free and open to the public. These practices are August 7th at 6:30pm and August 18th at 6:30pm. No tickets are required for the Husky Stadium practices.

Is Training Camp open to the public?
Yes, however all fans attending must pre-register as viewing space at the VMAC facility is limited.  Each registrant will be allowed 3 guests. Practices held at Husky Stadium do not require a registration and there is no limit to the number of guests that may attend.

How do I get to Training Camp?
Transportation will be available from The Landing shopping center in Renton to the VMAC facility.  This will be the only way to access Training Camp.  A $5 per person parking and transportation fee is required at the time of online registration.  All attendees will check-in at The Landing to confirm registration.  Kids 15 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult.  See our Transportation Page for details. There is no transportation provided to the Husky Stadium practices. Paid parking is available next to Husky Stadium.

Can I drive directly to Training Camp?
Unfortunately, parking is not available at the VMAC facility or nearby neighborhoods.  Violators will be ticketed and/or towed. However, you may dirve directly to the Husky Stadium practices as there is no transporation provided.

Where do fans with disabilities park?
Fans with disability parking permits will be allowed to park at the VMAC facility.  Fans will need to request disabled parking at the time of online registration and a state-issued, disabled permit is required. Disabled parking permits must be properly displayed for Seahawks officials to grant entry. A designated seating area will also be provided for fans with disabilities.

Will the latest Seahawks merchandise be available?
The Seahawks Pro Shop tent is located near the main fan entrance at VMAC. At Husky Stadium there will be a tent located under the west scoreboard
 
Will food and beverages be available?
Snack food and beverage items will be available for purchase at each practice session. The main concessions are located near the main fan entrance of camp. CASH ONLY.
At Husky Stadium there will not be any concessions available. For all practices you may bring your own food and beverages (factory sealed water bottles).

What should I bring to Training Camp?
For your comfort, please feel free to bring the following items to training camp:

Shirts and shoes are required.  Please refrain from wearing any type of distracting or inappropriate apparel. Smoking is strictly prohibited.

Fans are asked to comply with the Seattle Seahawks Fan Code of Conduct and the requests of the VMAC and Husky Stadium staff.  Failure to follow these rules and policies will result in immediate removal from Training Camp.

May I bring my camera to Training Camp?
Still cameras with lenses under 12” and without flash attachments are permitted for use during all Training Camp practices.  No flash photography of any type will be permitted at any time. No audio or video recording devices are allowed, including camcorders or cellular phones with video capabilities. Video taping, live streaming and blogging during practice is strictly prohibited.

May we bring our coolers to Training Camp?
Small coolers are permitted at VMAC and Husky Stadium, but will be subject to search by Seahawks security, team personnel, or law enforcement officials. Alcoholic beverages and glass containers are prohibited.

Are backpacks and bags allowed at Training Camp?
Bags and backpacks are permitted.  All people, bags and purses are subject to inspection. Individuals who refuse to have a bag, purse, or backpack inspected will be denied entry.

Will the Seahawks provide tours of the VMAC facility during Training Camp?
Because of the large number of fans expected to attend the Seahawks Training Camp, we are unable to provide tours of the team’s headquarters.

Will there be an opportunity to get player autographs?
Prior to each VMAC practice, fans 15 years of age and under have the opportunity to qualify for a private autograph session simply spinning a wheel at the Seahawks Kids Club booth.  The first 100 youngsters to spin the wheel (one opportunity per practice session) and land on an “Autograph Alley!” square will receive one wristband for that day’s post-practice autograph session.

Is there an ATM on site?
There are not ATM machines available to the general public at the VMAC. Please plan accordingly.

What is the smoking policy?
For the comfort and health of all fans, the VMAC facility is a smoke-free environment. There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the grounds or inside the buildings at VMAC.
