2013 Blue Thunder Auditions
The heartbeat of the Seahawks fans at CenturyLink Field since 2004, the Seahawks Blue Thunder Drumline is a staple in the northwest sports and music scene. Blue Thunder, the official drumline for the Seattle Seahawks is a 32-person ensemble made up of 10 snare drummers, 5 quint players, 7 tonal bass drummers and 10 cymbal players. Blue Thunder plays custom beats and arrangements by its membership, features guest drummers, and has the largest concert bass drum in existence at 100” diameter. Do you get loud and proud?
The audition date for this year is Saturday, March 30. A representative will confirm audition times with you after your request has been submitted
The audition will consist of 3 parts and should take no more than 10 min per person:
A short prepared solo performance up to 1 min in length.
Sight reading.
A personal interview.
