Clare Farnsworth is in his second season as the digital media writer for Seahawks.com. He joined the team website in July 2009, after covering the Seahawks for 30 years as a beat writer for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer (1987-2008), Journal-American (1982-86) and Fournier Newspapers (1979-81).

During his unprecedented tenure as a beat writer, he covered every coach and playoff game in franchise history – in addition to 15 Super Bowls.

A graduate of San Diego State University, Farnsworth was a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committee during his time at the P-I and a two-time finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s McCann Award, presented for distinguished reporting of pro football.

In his first season with the Seahawks, Ben Malcolmson spent the previous three years as the director of online media for the USC football program, managing the team's website and writing the award-winning "USCRipsIt Blog" that chronicled the Trojans inside and out. Malcolmson, a USC graduate and native of Dallas, tried out for the Trojan football team in 2006 as part of a participatory journalism piece for the school newspaper that turned into a much bigger story than anticipated when he made the team as a wideout.
