RENTON, Wash. - The Seahawks announced today the lights on the roof of CenturyLink Field will be among many iconic monuments around the world being illuminated light blue to raise awareness of the global epidemic of diabetes on Wednesday, November 14 from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
Diabetes is a chronic, debilitating disease which affects nearly 500,000 people in Washington State and 220 million people worldwide and continues to increase. World Diabetes Day raises global awareness of diabetes and engages millions of people worldwide in diabetes advocacy.
