Seahawks sign fullback Michael Robinson, place fullback Spencer Ware on injured reserve

Seahawks welcome back former Pro Bowl fullback Michael Robinson, make practice squad moves

Renton, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks have placed fullback Spencer Ware on injured reserve and signed fullback Michael Robinson to the 53-man roster, the team announced this morning. Seattle also released wide receiver Josh Lenz from the practice squad and signed wide receiver Ricardo Lockette and guard Zach Allen to the practice squad.

Robinson spent the last three seasons in Seattle after spending the first four of his career with the San Francisco 49ers. With Seattle, he played in 41 games with 15 starts while serving as special teams captain and helping Marshawn Lynch to All-Pro and Pro Bowl nominations with more than 2,700 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns since the 2011 season.

Lenz signed with Seattle on October 8 and Lockette has spent time with San Francisco and Chicago this season.
