Seahawks Offensive Line Coach Gibbs Retires

Renton, Wash. - Seattle Seahawks offensive line coach Alex Gibbs has retired, the club announced today.

"We wish Alex the best in his retirement," said Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll. "We're grateful for the time we had with him and we're all better for it."
 
The Seahawks hired Gibbs on February 4, 2010. Gibbs began his NFL career in 1984 with the Denver Broncos and coached for eight different NFL teams. Prior to the NFL, Gibbs coached 15 seasons in college football.
