Seahawks Announce Spirit of 12 Partners for Regular Season

Outerwall to donate $512 for every Seahawks first down

RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks announced today their Spirit of 12 Partners for the 2014 regular season.

At every home game, Pacific Northwest youth service organizations partner with The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation and Seahawks fans to raise funds for kids' programs. As Spirit of 12 Partners, members of community-based nonprofits distribute the Seahawks Gameday Magazine, keeping 100 percent of the proceeds which are then matched by The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation.

In addition to game program donations, Outerwall (Nasdaq: OUTR) is participating in the Seahawks "Stats for Kids" program, which raises money for charity through on-field performances. Outerwall will donate $512 for every Seahawks first down gained at home during the preseason and regular season to the designated Spirit of 12 Partner. The donation amount of $512 represents the five nonprofit partners and the 12 signifies the Spirit of 12. The Seahawks registered 46 first downs during the preseason at home, totaling $23,552 for the program.

Fans are also encouraged to donate their coins at any participating Washington State Coinstar machines to the Spirit of 12 program from September 6-December 29. For more details visit:

In the fall of 2004, the Seattle Seahawks Charitable Foundation unveiled the Spirit of 12 Partners program, a collaboration among Seattle youth service organizations, the Seahawks, CenturyLink and The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation. Under this program, community-based nonprofits sell the Seahawks game day program during the team's home games.
