Seahawks Announce Game Day Activities for Sunday

Fans are encouraged to remember the end of daylight savings time and bring nonperishable food or cash donations for Northwest Harvest.

RENTON, Wash. -The Seattle Seahawks announced today activities for fans attending Sunday's game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at CenturyLink Field on November 3. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. Touchdown City will open at 10 a.m. and stadium gates open at 11 a.m. As a reminder, daylight saving time ends on Sunday, November 3, at 2 a.m.

The Seahawks, Seahawks Women's Association and Northwest Harvest are encouraging fans to bring nonperishable food or cash donations. Volunteers will be available at all gates and in Touchdown City to accept contributions. Northwest Harvest is the only non-profit food bank distributor operating statewide in Washington with a network of more than 360 food banks, meal programs and high-need schools. Northwest Harvest provides over 1.9 million meals every month to this network.

"One in five people in Washington struggles with food insecurity," says Shelley Rotondo, executive director of Northwest Harvest. "With the help of Seahawks fans we're working to improve those numbers and tackle hunger across the state."

Items that are most needed by Northwest Harvest include the following:

* Baby food

* Chili

* Peanut butter

* Canned fruits

* Crackers

* Soups

* Canned meats

* Granola bars

* Stews

* Canned vegetables

* Infant formula

* Trail mix

Seahawks fans are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early to enjoy game day activities and avoid any traffic or parking delays. A transportation guide is available at:

American Family Insurance Touchdown City opens at 10 a.m. and admission is free.  Touchdown City features two 13' x 24' high definition/high resolution screens to create a theater style atmosphere so fans can track other NFL game day action.  Beatles Tribute band, British Export, will perform and members of the 1983 Seahawks Playoff team will be available after 11 a.m. to sign autographs. Other activities include:   

  • Face and hair painting
  • Interactive inflatable games and contests
  • Sea Gals autograph booth
  • Seahawks alumni autograph booth
  • Seahawks Pro Shop kiosks 
  • Appearances by Blitz and Taima
  • 710 ESPN Entertainment Zone featuring live reports and pregame analysis
  • Season long food and beverage specials including $5 beers and $3 hot dogs
