Marshawn Lynch Works Out With Skittles

Marshawn Lynch has managed to employ Skittles into his workout routine. Check out the YouTube video embedded at the top of the article, which showcases the Seahawks running back going through his training regimen using his favorite gameday candy as a cardio incentive and in place of traditional weights.

Bryan Walters Re-Signed, Practice Squad Filled

Two days after releasing the wide receiver on the team's roster cut to 53 players, the Seahawks re-signed fifth-year pro Bryan Walters to their active roster yesterday. To make room, third-year wide receiver Phil Bates was released.

The Seahawks also added defensive end Julius Warmsley and defensive back Josh Aubrey to fill out their 10-man practice squad.

Starbucks Makes For 'A Better Seattle'

Starting today, Starbucks will donate 25 cents to Seahawks coach Pete Carroll's 'A Better Seattle' program when you pay with a special Seahawks Starbucks card.

“We’re really excited about this season joining again with Starbucks,” Carroll said on Monday. “The opportunity to every time somebody goes to Starbucks and shows their Seahawks Starbucks card and there’s a 25 cent donation that goes to 'A Better Seattle' is really exciting for us. Starbucks has been a great partner and we’re thrilled that that’s happening."

The program runs through Sunday, Sept. 21.

Pearl Jam's Mike McCready, CCFA Team Up For Flag Football Tournament

Pearl Jam lead guitarist Mike McCready, who has lived with Crohn's disease the past 27 years, has teamed with the northwest chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation to bring a flag football tournament to CenturyLink Field this Sunday, Sept. 7.

The tournament is open to the public and will feature a celebrity flag football game with former Seahawks midway through the competition. All event proceeds benefit the CCFA.
