Top Pot Doughnuts and Coffee now Available for Fans at Qwest Field

Posted Mar 25, 2010

RENTON, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks and Sounders FC announced today a three-year partnership with locally based Top Pot Doughnuts as the official doughnuts and coffee partner at Qwest Field and Event Center and the Virginia Mason Athletic Center.

Top Pot Doughnuts will sell their hand-forged gourmet doughnuts and fresh roasted coffee at eight concession stands, kiosks and coffee carts throughout Qwest Field and Event Center beginning March 25, the Sounders FC home opener.

“Top Pot Doughnuts has helped redefine the doughnuts and coffee experience in the Seattle area,” said Vulcan Sports & Entertainment CEO Tod Leiweke. “Our partnership will provide a home grown and unique Pacific Northwest food and beverage option for our fans attending events at Qwest Field and Event Center.”

As well as serving the wildly popular Glazed Old Fashioned, Top Pot will also be offering fans doughnuts in the colors of their favorite teams. In addition to a decadent treat, Qwest patrons will enjoy Top Pot’s small-batch roasted coffee and espresso beverages.

“Like the Seattle Seahawks and Sounders FC, Top Pot takes pride in being a true Seattle original, and we remain committed to the simple ideals that brought us this far; quality, inclusiveness, and integrity,” said Top Pot Doughnuts Cofounder Mark Klebeck.  “We give it our full 90!”

Top Pot has been a Seattle institution since 2002, and offers more than forty different types of hand-forged doughnuts at all six Top Pot cafés in the greater Seattle area. Outside of Qwest Field and Event Center, Top Pot cafes are located in Downtown, Queen Anne, Capitol Hill, Bellevue, Wedgwood, and in Mill Creek inside the University Book Store. Fans can also find Top Pot Doughnuts out and about in Seattle in the mobile Airstream.
