In his first year of eligibility, former Seahawks left tackle Walter Jones is among the 25 semifinalists being considered for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2014. The Hall of Fame selection committee landed on the list of 25 from its initial list of 126 modern-era nominees. Jones, the Seahawks' 1997 first-round draft pick (No. 6 overall), is widely considered to be one of the game's best offensive lineman. He spent 13 seasons in Seattle, earning nine Pro Bowl and seven All-Pro honors. His No. 71 jersey was retired by the club in December of 2010.
