For those of you who may have missed out on last month's Super Bowl celebratory parade, you'll soon have another opportunity to salute your world champion Seahawks.

The Seattle Mariners have announced they'll pay tribute to the winners of Super Bowl XLVIII with a special pregame presentation and the ceremonial first pitch on Opening Night at Safeco Field, set for Tuesday, April 8.

Quarterback Russell Wilson, Super Bowl MVP Malcolm Smith, linebackers Bobby Wagner and K.J. Wright, wide receiver Jermaine Kearse and more will be on hand as the Mariners open their 2014 home schedule against the American League West rival Los Angeles Angels.

"The Seahawks thrilled the fans of Seattle and the entire Northwest in winning Super Bowl XLVIII, and the Mariners are proud to honor them at our Home Opener," Mariners President and COO Kevin Mather said in a press release issued by the club. "It will be another chance for fans to show their appreciation to the Hawks."

It should be a familiar feeling for the former collegiate second-baseman Wilson, who threw out the first pitch prior to a Mariners game against the New York Yankees last season. But now Wilson will share that experience with several of his Super Bowl champion teammates, who are bound to enjoy the added pageantry that comes with the Home Opener at one of baseball's most-beautiful ballparks.

This year's on-field festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. PT with first pitch marked for 7:10 p.m. Tickets are available through
