Sealver Siliga to start against Raiders

Posted Aug 29, 2013

Nine Seahawks are not expected to play Thursday night against the Oakland Raiders

With Tony McDaniel, Jordan Hill and Brandon Mebane on the list of Seahawks not expected to play in Thursday night’s preseason finale against the Oakland Raiders at CenturyLink Field, Sealver Siliga will start at the three-technique tackle spot.

That’s the same Sealver Siliga who was obtained just last week in the trade that sent guard John Moffitt to the Denver Broncos. The 325-pound Siliga drew praise from coaches for his efforts against the run in last week’s win against the Packers in Green Bay.

Also, All-Pro running back Marshawn Lynch is not expected to play.

Also on the list:

WR Sidney Rice
FB Michael Robinson
DE Cliff Avril
DE Michael Bennett
DE Chris Clemons
