Seahawks sign four; release four

The Seahawks made several roster moves on Wednesday.

RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks signed 2010 seventh-round draft picks defensive end Dexter Davis (236th overall) and tight end Jameson Konz (245th Overall), the team announced today. The club also signed undrafted free agents defensive tackle Barrett Moen and defensive end Will Tukuafu. To make room, the Seahawks released tight end Michael Allan, wide receiver Patrick Carter, linebacker Kevin Dixon and safety Quinton Teal.

Moen played four seasons for the University of Minnesota. Tukuafu attended the University of Oregon where he earned All-Pac-10 second-team honors in 2009.

Allan signed with the club on May 19. Seattle originally signed Carter to its practice squad on December 30, 2009, before signing him to a future contract on January 6, 2010. Dixon signed as an undrafted free agent on April 24 and Teal signed with Seattle on April 28.

Seattle has now signed three of the club's nine draft picks.
