Seahawks sign defensive tackle Clinton McDonald

McDonald has played in 29 games for Seattle with one start, and has recorded 60 tackles (38 solo) with the club.

Renton, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have signed defensive tackle Clinton McDonald and released tackle Mike Person, the team announced this afternoon.

McDonald was acquired by Seattle via trade with the Cincinnati Bengals on August 29, 2011 after spending 2009 on Cincinnati's practice squad and playing in eight games in 2010, recording four tackles (2 solo) and a pass defensed. He has played in 29 games for Seattle with one start, and has recorded 60 tackles (38 solo) with the club.  He has 64 tackles (40 solo) in his career. He was released by Seattle on August 31, 2013.

Person originally signed to Seattle's practice squad on September 13, 2012 before being added to the active roster on October 30, 2012.  He played in one game (at Carolina, 9/8/13).
