The news of fullback Michael Robinson's return brings favorable reactions from the Seahawks locker room.

Tuesday morning, the Seahawks officially announced the return of its former Pro Bowl fullback Michael Robinson to the active roster, placing rookie fullback Spencer Ware (ankle) on injured reserve. In this age of instant information, these type of things sometimes find a way to slip out before the formal word comes down.

Last night, that instant information came from one of the unlikeliest of places, as defensive end Chris Clemons broke the news on Twitter after receiving a personal text message from last year's special teams captain.

Those nine words have since been retweeted more than 1,600 times, and they have led to an outpouring of support from Seahawks players and the 12th Man community alike.

Strong safety Kam Chancellor posted the photo below on his Instagram account early Tuesday morning with the caption, "Me and Ted wants to welcome back Mike Rob. #GoHawks #12thman"

Welcome back, Mike Rob.
