Konz, a seventh-round draft choice in 2010, had been re-signed on July 30. Ashford, Lintz and Parker also were added to the roster during training camp, while Swain, Nelson and Wilkins were added during the offseason and prior to camp. Knox had been signed to a future contract in January.
Monday’s moves means the club will have to make six more by Tuesday afternoon.
