Seahawks Sign Linebacker Farwell

The Seattle Seahawks have released running back Allen Bradford and signed linebacker Heath Farwell to the active roster.

Renton, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have released running back Allen Bradford and signed linebacker Heath Farwell to the active roster, the team announced this afternoon.

Farwell originally signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2005 and played six seasons mostly on special teams, totaling 113 special teams tackles in 71 career games played. He was named to the NFC Pro Bowl on special teams after the 2009 season.

Bradford was claimed off waivers (TB) on Monday.
