Seahawks Reach 53-Man Roster Limit

Seahawks also trade an undisclosed 2015 draft pick to the Indianapolis Colts for cornerback Marcus Burley.


Renton, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks have reached the NFL-mandated 53-man roster limit with the following transactions and also traded an undisclosed 2015 draft pick to the Indianapolis Colts for cornerback Marcus Burley, the team announced today.

Burley was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted rookie free agent on April 28, 2013. He spent time on the practice squads of Jacksonville, Philadelphia, St. Louis and Indianapolis last season and did not play in a regular season game.
