Renton, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have placed guard John Moffitt
on injured reserve and signed guard Paul Fanaika
to the 53-man roster, the team announced this afternoon.
Moffitt was Seattle's third-round draft choice (75th overall) in the 2011 NFL Draft and started all nine games at right guard this season.
Fanaika began the season on the practice squad, but was released last week when wide receiver Patrick Williams
was re-signed. Fanaika joined the Seahawks last December, when he was signed off the Cleveland Browns practice squad, but was inactive for the final three games.
