Renton, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have placed tight end Chris Baker and guard Chester Pitts on injured reserve, the team announced this morning.
Seattle also placed running back Chris Henry on practice squad/injured reserve and released linebacker Vuna Tuihalamaka from the practice squad.
Filling those practice squad vacancies are running back Andre Anderson and tight end Nick Tow-Arnett.
With the Seahawks' third preseason game set for Friday night against the Chicago Bears at CenturyLink Field, "Turnover Thursday" was bumped up two days in the practice week.
With preseason week three played on Friday, Pete Carroll shifted his competition Wednesday two days earlier to Monday.
