RENTON, Wash. - The Seahawks invite fans to plan ahead and arrive early to avoid traffic congestion before the Seahawks versus New Orleans Saints game at CenturyLink Field on Monday, December 2. Kick-off is scheduled for 5:40 p.m., Touchdown City and stadium gates will open at 2:30 p.m.
As sponsors of the game, Subway and Coke Zero will distribute more than 32,000 roll out cheer banners to fans as they enter the stadium. In celebration of NFL Play 60, the first 15,000 youth will receive Seahawks Play 60 eye black stickers.
The team has partnered with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to collect new, unwrapped toys and cash donations in Touchdown City, all gate locations and at the Bekins Northwest truck located outside the northwest gate.
American Family Insurance Touchdown City will open at 2:30 p.m. and admission is free. Located in the CenturyLink Field Event Center, Touchdown City offers unique games, displays, football skill tests, complimentary face painting and entertainment provided by Blue Thunder and Sea Gals. Fans will also find season long food and beverage specials including $5 beers and $3 hot dogs and an on-site merchandise kiosk to purchase the latest gear including the customized Seahawks jerseys.
SUBWAY will distribute more than 10,000 beanies and spokesperson Jared Fogle will be available for photos and autographs from 3 - 4 p.m. at the SUBWAY booth in Touchdown City.
The team will also recognize the Fuel Up to Play 60 program, a state wide effort in partnership with the Washington State Dairy Council empowering students to make everyday changes at school and in their communities with a focus on choosing healthy foods to eat, and getting active for at least 60 minutes every day.
The halftime show will feature an exhibition from the regional winners of the NFL Punt, Pass & Kick program.
