Seahawks Encourage Fans to Plan Ahead for Sunday's Home Opener

RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks announced today a number of special activities to celebrate the first regular season game at CenturyLink Field. The Seahawks host the San Francisco 49ers at CenturyLink Field on Sunday, September 15. Kick-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Touchdown City will open at 2:30 p.m. and stadium gates open at 3:30 p.m.

Seahawks fans are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early to enjoy game day activities and avoid any traffic or parking delays. A transportation guide is available at

American Family Insurance Touchdown City opens at 2:30 p.m. and admission is free. Touchdown City features two 13' x 24' large high definition/high resolution screens to create a theater style atmosphere so fans can catch other NFL game day action. Other activities include the following:

• Face and hair painting
• Interactive inflatable games and contests
• Sea Gals autograph booth
• Performance by "The Rhythm Nation" playing a diverse mix of popular dance, R&B and rock
• Seahawks Pro Shop kiosks
• Appearances by Blitz and Taima
• 710 ESPN Entertainment Zone featuring live reports and pregame analysis
• Season long food and beverage specials including $5 beers and $3 hot dogs

Washington's Lottery will host a pre-game Tailgate Party in the north plaza. Seahawks alum Walter Jones will be signing autographs from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Spike and the Impalers will provide entertainment along with games, prizes, a photo booth and an opportunity to participate in a raffle for Seahawks autographed items.

Fans visiting the Delta Sky360 Club will be greeted by Delta Flight staff distributing co-branded lanyards. Club ticket holders are invited to sign-up for a chance to win two round trip tickets to Japan on Delta at kiosks located throughout the club and visit the East and West Club lounges to create their own custom engraved Seahawks/Delta branded luggage tags and participate in the Delta photo booth.
