The Seahawks have made several roster moves this afternoon

Renton, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks have released cornerback Travis Fisher, running back Edgerrin James and safety C.J. Wallace, the team announced this afternoon. Filling their roster spots are safety Jamar Adams, wide receiver Mike Hass and cornerback Roy Lewis, who were signed from the team’s practice squad.

James, signed by Seattle on August 25, gained 17 yards at Dallas (11/1) to pass Marcus Allen to move in to 10th place on the NFL’s all-time rushing leaders list with 12,246 yards. He rushed 46 times for 125 yards in seven games with the Seahawks.

Fisher played in four games in a reserve role and Wallace played in 26 career games on special teams for Seattle.

Seattle signed running back Devin Moore, cornerback Trae Williams and cornerback DeAngelo Willingham to round out its eight-man practice squad. Moore was an original member of the squad until being released on September 29.
