Seahawks Announce H.S. Coaches of the Week

Ron Larsen from Bellarmine Prep High School and Ron Lepper from Mt. Baker High School as Week 2 "NFL High School Coaches of the Week"

RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks and Sterling Savings Bank today announced Tom Larsen from Bellarmine Prep High School and Ron Lepper from Mt. Baker High School as Week 2 "NFL High School Coaches of the Week".

Larsen led the Lions to a 45-13 victory over Wilson High School. Lepper guided the Mountaineers to a 14-13 win against Anacortes.

Now in its 16th season, the NFL High School Coach of the Week program is a partnership between the Washington State Football Coaches Association, Seattle Seahawks and Sterling Savings Bank. 

The weekly recipients will receive a $500 cash donation for their football program from the Seattle Seahawks and a $225 Sports Authority gift card & Coach's kit plus a custom, replica jersey from Sterling Savings Bank.

Following the season, one coach will receive the Jim Ennis Award for High School Coach of the Year. The 2011 NFL High School Coach of the Year for Washington State will receive a $2,000 cash grant.
