Don't believe everything you read, see, hear, or in this case - click, on the internet. Especially not on April Fool's Day.
The San Francisco-headquartered "front page of the internet" reddit.com - a social networking news website catered toward community member contributions in the form of link-based content - appears to be poking some fun at the Seattle Seahawks' NFC West rivalry with the San Francisco 49ers.
But today, when attempting to navigate to the Seahawks' subreddit, you're actually taken to the 49ers' forum. And vice versa, when attempting to browse the Niners' subreddit, you're taken to the home of the Super Bowl XLVIII champion Seahawks.
Maybe it's just a temporary glitch in the system and one that's yet to be reported to the website's moderators. Or maybe, and perhaps more likely given the company's Bay Area background, reddit chose to pull a pretty good prank on the impassioned fan bases of two of the most dominant teams in football.
