Head coach Pete Carroll addressed the media this afternoon ahead of the team's 1:45 p.m. "Competition Wednesday" practice and preparation for Sunday's NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers at CenturyLink Field.
After missing the past four games with a foot injury, Carroll said linebacker
Wright last saw action against the 49ers in Week 14 at Candlestick Park. He left the game with what was determined to be a fractured bone in his foot and had surgery to repair the injury the following week. In Wright's absence, third-year linebacker

- "We don't change anything." Carroll, on the biggest message he relays to his team during NFC Championship week. "That's the whole point of the way we prepare. We're trying to play the best we can possibly play every time we go out. ... We should be at the best we've been."
- "Come on, let's do it again." Carroll’s message to the 12th Man as they prepare for this weekend's conference title game. "Our following has been extraordinary. We're very blessed to have so much love and care for this team. ... All I'd ever ask is, 'Let's go have some fun.'"
