A look at a memorable moment in Seahawks history that occurred on Oct. 2

2005: The Seahawks fall to 2-2 by losing to the Redskins in overtime, after Josh Brown’s 47-yard field goal attempt hits the left upright as time expired in regulation. It is the last loss before the Seahawks go on a franchise-record 11-game winning streak en route to posting an NFC-best and club-record 13-3 record. Matt Hasselbeck passes for 242 yards and a touchdown while completing 26 of 38 passes; Bobby Engram catches nine passes for 106 yards; Shaun Alexander runs for 98 yards and a TD; and middle linebacker Lofa Tatupu has 10 tackles and a sack.
