Posted Nov 3, 2013

A look at some memorable moments in Seahawks history that occurred on Nov. 3.

1985: Terry Taylor returns an interception 75 yards for a touchdown and blocks a field goal attempt that is recovered by Byron Walker and returned 56 yards for a touchdown in a 33-3 victory over the Los Angeles Raiders at the Kingdome.

1996: Michael McCrary blocks Houston’s game-winning field goal attempt with 16 seconds to play, recovers the ball and laterals it to Robert Blackmon to complete a 68-yard touchdown return in a 23-16 victory over the Oilers at the Kingdome. John Friesz passes for 323 yards, the Seahawks’ first 300-yard passing performance since 1990.

2002: Koren Robinson catches eight passes for 100 yards and Shaun Alexander has 115 yards rushing and receiving, but neither gets into the end zone in a 14-3 loss to Redskins in Seattle. The Redskins’ Shane Matthews completes just 10 of 27 passes, but he does throw two touchdown passes.
