Max Unger, Zach Miller inactive for Seahawks

For the second week in a row, the Seahawks will be without three-fifths of their starting offensive line and tight end Zach Miller also has been named inactive for Sunday’s game against the Colts.

INDIANAPOLIS – The Seahawks will be without All-Pro center Max Unger and starting tight end Zach Miller for their game against the Indianapolis Colts as they were among the inactive players announced before Sunday’s game at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Unger did not practice Friday after being limited Wednesday and Thursday because of the arm injury that also forced him to sit out last week’s overtime victory against the Texans in Houston, while Miller felt tightness in a hamstring during Wednesday’s practice and sat out the next two days. They were listed as questionable on Friday’s final injury report.

Lemuel Jeanpierre will start for Unger, as he did last week; while rookie Luke Willson will step in for Miller.

The Seahawks also won’t their starting tackles. Pro Bowl left tackle Russell Okung has been placed on injured reserve with a designation return because of a toe injury, while right tackle Breno Giacomini had a surgical procedure on a bothersome knee last week. They will continue to be replaced by Paul McQuistan and rookie Michael Bowie.
