Browner, a cornerback who is in his third season with the Seahawks after playing four years in the CFL, turns 29 today. Tate, a fourth-year wide receiver, is 25.
I was born for this, my first year of pop warner, practice was on my b day, ive been in training camps the last 8 years on my bday #young29— Brandon Browner (@bbrowner27) August 2, 2013
Tate has had a number of impressive catches in camp, and several have come despite sharing-the-same-jersey coverage from the 6-foot-4 Browner. Browner, meanwhile, continues to make life difficult for Tate or any receiver who might enter his space because of his physical style of play. Browner didn’t get his first interception until Sunday, but he has gotten his hands on several other passes – some intended for Tate.
“Just two really good players going after it,” offered quarterback
And two really good players who just happen to have been born on the same date.
