Doug Baldwin's New Deal
Seahawks wide receiver "Angry" Doug Baldwin was given several reasons to flash a smile yesterday when he signed a new contract with the team that is slated to keep him in Seattle through the 2016 season.
"Nothing has changed," Baldwin told reporters during Thursday's press conference announcing his new deal. "Obviously, everyone around us - the fans, the community, the city of Seattle - has shown that they’re extremely excited about the Super Bowl, but all of us as players, we’re just so anxious to get back to work to show that we belong. That it wasn’t a fluke, that we can go out and do it again, and that we will do it again. That’s what the guys are so anxious about. You see it at practice. Some of you guys were at practice on Tuesday and you have seen that. Nothing has changed for us."
Semifinal Round Of Madden Cover Vote Ends Today
The semifinal round of the fan-voting competition to determine which player will grace the cover of Madden NFL 15 comes to a close today.
Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is up against San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick on one side, with Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton battling it out on the other. You can cast a vote for Sherman right here.
