RENTON, Wash. - Fans traveling to the Seattle Seahawks game versus the St. Louis Rams on Monday, December 12 are strongly urged to arrive at CenturyLink Field at least 90 minutes prior to kickoff to avoid parking delays and overcrowding at the gates. Touchdown City will open at 2:30 p.m. and all stadium gates will open at 3:30 p.m. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. For tickets, visit Seahawks.com/tickets.
Additional parking is available for fans at the Metro Transit garage located on 6th Avenue and Royal Brougham, just a few blocks east of CenturyLink Field. The garage opens three hours before kickoff and closes one hour after the game ends. The parking fee is $25.
Seahawks game day security is now using hand-held metal detectors as part of the screening process. The hand-held metal detectors enable staff to screen fans more efficiently and effectively as part of a NFL league wide initiative.
Fans should be aware the Metro Transit Park & Ride bus service will not be available for the weekday game. A partial list of transportation options is outlined below. Sound Transit Express Bus Service
Sound Transit bus service offers transportation from areas throughout Pierce, King and Snohomish counties with service every 30 minutes and stops within three blocks of CenturyLink Field. For information visit www.soundtransit.org
Link Light Rail
The Central Link offers service from Tukwila to Downtown Seattle with two stations near CenturyLink Field. Visit www.soundtransit.org for Light Rail ticket and service information.
Metro Transit
Metro offers over 15 daily bus routes that stop within three blocks of CenturyLink Field. Be prepared for traffic delays in the downtown and SODO areas and expect crowded buses, both before and after the game. Fans can plan their bus trip by visiting http://metro.kingcounty.gov
SoundRunner Ferry
SoundRunner Ferry will depart from the Kingston Ferry Terminal and drop off at Pier 50 in Seattle. Pier 50 is located south of the Washington State Ferry dock and is a short walk to the stadium. The fare is $10 one way and can be purchased in advance on the website or at the kiosk 30 minutes before sailing from Kingston or on the boat after leaving the dock in Seattle.
