Carson Palmer, Larry Fitzgerald active for Cardinals

Posted Dec 22, 2013

There are no surprises among the Seahawks’ inactive players for Sunday’s game against Arizona. But QB Carson Palmer and leading receiver Larry Fitzgerald are active for the Cardinals.

Quarterback Carson Palmer and wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald were injured in the Arizona Cardinals’ overtime victory against the Titans in Tennessee last week, but they are active for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks at CenturyLink Field.

Fitzgerald got a concussion and was not cleared to play until Friday. Palmer sprained an ankle and was limited in practice during the week.

For the Seahawks, right guard J.R. Sweezy is inactive because of the concussion he got in last week’s win over the New York Giants. A replacement starter has not been announced, but rookie Michael Bowie replaced Sweezy in practice all week.
