Early Friday morning, head coach Pete Carroll joined the team's flagship radio station 710 ESPN Seattle for his weekly conversation with "Brock and Danny."
"It was a really fun game," Carroll said of Thursday night's 34-22 win over the Cardinals in Arizona. "We made so many plays that were cool to watch and see the guys come through. The whole night was full of bright spots."
One of those bright spots was the traveling 12th Man. Carroll said the club felt their presence while catching balls in pregame all the way up to the racous postgame show on NFL Network. Players raved about their impact after the game and Carroll offered up some further praise on Monday.
"They were so good and such a big part of the night," Carroll said. "There was a time there late in the game when they were chanting 'Sea!' 'Hawks!' and I don't know what the Cardinals fans were chanting, but they were trying to drown them out, and they couldn't do it."
Below are a couple more nuggets from Carroll's Friday conversation with "Brock and Danny"
- Carroll said they'll see if wide receiver
Percy Harvin(hip) can withstand the weekend of workouts before they make a decision to bring him off the team's physically unable to perform (PUP) list. After last night's game, Carroll said a Tuesday return to practice for Harvin is a possibility.
- Carroll called quarterback
Russell Wilson's three fumbles against the Cardinals "protection issues" and said the club needs to do a better job at keeping their quarterback clean, "The protection has to be better. He can't do a whole lot with what happened."
