Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin Joins ‘NFL Live’
Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin made a guest appearance on ESPN’s daily NFL studio show, NFL Live, and shared why the team has rallied around defensive end Michael Bennett following an incident with Las Vegas police.
“Michael being a family member within these four walls of our locker room, he means something to us,” Baldwin said. “Honestly, we wanted to be there for him emotionally and make sure that he was mentally OK and support him in every way that we could. That’s really what our motives were and what was important to us at that time. Regardless of who is right or wrong in this situation, we were just being empathetic to Michael because he came to us with a situation where he described he felt like his life was in danger.”
