Thursday Round-Up: Seahawks Legend Jacob Green Among 2018 College Football Hall Of Fame Candidates

Seahawks legend Jacob Green is one of the 75 candidates up for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Good afternoon, 12s.

Here's a look at what's "out there" for today — Thursday, June 1 — about your Seattle Seahawks:

Jacob Green Among 2018 College Football Hall Of Fame Candidates

Seahawks legendary defensive end Jacob Green was included in the 75 college football players and six coaches up for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.

The new class of inductees will be announced next year on Jan. 6 during the College Football Playoff national championship game.

Green, who played collegiately at Texas A&M University before going on to have a 13-year career in the NFL, was one of college football's most feared pass-rushers. For the Aggies, Green recorded the single-season record with 20 quarterback hits in 1979 and set the school's record for career sacks (37).

Additionally, Spokane-native and Washington State alumni Jason Hanson was also named as a finalist for the 2018 class.

Today's "Social Post of the Day" comes from Seahawks tight Jimmy Graham, who shared this video of himself on Instagram flying in Canada last week:
