Paul Allen, Cocoon House Raise $280,974 To Prevent Youth Homelessness

Seattle Seahawks owner Paul Allen and Cocoon House partnered to raise a total of $280, 974 to provide services and safe places for vulnerable youth in the Pacific Northwest region.

Cocoon House, a non-profit organization that provides housing and protection services for homeless and at-risk youth and their families, saw their donation total in December matched dollar-for-dollar by Paul Allen to help provide support that will save lives.

The Seahawks announced plans for their youth homelessness campaign to prevent homelessness at the beginning of last month.

"For us at Cocoon House, this partnership with Paul Allen and the Seattle Seahawks provided so much more than just funding," said Cassie Franklin, CEO of Cocoon House. "It gave us an incredible opportunity on one of the region's biggest stages – CenturyLink Field – to spread our message of hope to youth throughout Puget Sound. Together, we are helping to change the path for youth, giving them the chance for a bright future and hope in the weeks, months and years ahead."
