Super Bowl Matchup Leads To Bet Between Superheroes
After this past Sunday's conference title games, Lake Stevens, Wash. native, Seahawks super-fan, and actor Chris Pratt, who played Star-Lord in the hit movie Guardians of the Galaxy got into a fun Twitter exchange with fellow actor Chris Evans, a fan of the New England Patriots who plays Captain America in the Marvel movies of the same name.
The initial social media back-and-forth between the two on-screen superheroes led to a bet between their Super Bowl-bound teams.
A Seahawks win will bring Evans (Captain America) to the Pacific Northwest for a visit at Seattle Children's Hospital, while a Patriots win will bring Pratt (Star-Lord) to Christopher's Haven, a Boston-based non-profit that supports the families of children undergoing treatment for cancer.
