Renton, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks have placed center Lemuel Jeanpierre on injured reserve and signed wide receiver Phil Bates to the 53-man roster, the team announced today.
Jeanpierre signed to Seattle’s practice squad on September 6, 2010 and to its active roster on January 7, 2011. He has played in 47 games with eight starts in the regular season and has played in five postseason games, including all three last season during Seattle’s Super Bowl run.
