In a scene reminiscent of Super Bowl XLVIII, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll completed the Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) "ice bucket challenge" on Tuesday at Renton's Virginia Mason Athletic Center.directed at Carroll by USC head coach Steve Sarkisian and followed up by a test from NFL Commmissioner Roger Goodell, asks participants to film themselves getting doused in ice water and share that video on social media to help raise awareness for ALS, also commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease. "I want to keep it in close to the NFC West coaches - Bruce Arians, Jeff Fisher, and Jim Harbaugh," said Carroll. "I challenge you to go through the ice bucket challenge yourselves.”
