Look who’s coming to training camp: Practice 10
Russell Wilson's first event benefitting his Why Not You Foundation featured the debut of Wilson's very own Costacos Brothers poster. Former Seahawks Steve Largent and Brian Bosworth, who also have their own Costacos Brothers posters, were in attendance and participated in a panel with Wilson, John and Tock Costacos. Another practice, another sold-out crowd of 2,500-plus 12th Man fans. That was again the case on Tuesday, when the Seahawks practiced along the shores of Lake Washington and the fans packed the berm that overlook the fields at Virginia Mason Athletic Center.
Tuesday’s crowd for the 10th practice of the Seahawks’ Training Camp presented by Bing included one fan who is about to give birth to a next-generation 12; another who was attending with his extended family – including nephews named King, Ace and Jack; and a third who just can’t wait for the season to start for the defending Super Bowl champions. Fan since: “Forever. I’ve been a season-ticket holder for 14 years.”
Favorite all-time Seahawk: Steve Largent. “Because he was there from the beginning,” she said of the Hall of Fame wide receiver.
Favorite moment in franchise history, other than winning the Super Bowl in February: “All of them. We’re just good team supporters.”

Favorite all-time Seahawk: Earl Thomas. “I like how he can do his job and he’s not too flashy about it or like in anybody’s face about it. He just quietly gets to work.”
Favorite current Seahawk: Earl Thomas. “But I also really like Steve Hauschka. I’m a kicker fan. I like that no matter what situation we get in you know that he’s going to get you out of it.”
Favorite moment in franchise history, other than winning the Super Bowl in February: “I’ve been a season-ticket holder for the last four years. And last year, when they knew they were going to go (to the Super Bowl); they were playing ‘New York. New York.’ in the stadium (at the conclusion of the NFC Championship game) and there was confetti everywhere. That was more exciting to me than the Super Bowl, because the Super Bowl ended so quickly.”
Moment most looking forward to this season: “Hopefully I’ll get to go to some of the game,” said Peterson, who is pregnant and due Sept. 8. “But we’re really looking forward to the Thanksgiving Day game (against the 49ers in their new stadium). We’re already planning our Thanksgiving feast at our house and we’re having football food instead of Thanksgiving food.” ReadRead

Favorite moment in franchise history, other than winning the Super Bowl in February: “Beast Quake,” he said of Marshawn Lynch’s electrifying 67-yard TD run in the 2010 wild-card playoff win over the Saints. “Just because that play represents kind of the Seattle spirit.”
Moment most looking forward to this season: “Opening day (Sept. 4 against the Packers), because they’ll raise the (Super Bowl) banner.” ReadRead
