Game Week Begins
The Seahawks begin game-week preparation for their first preseason contest of the year today, holding a "Competition Wednesday" practice at 11 a.m. PT at Renton's Virginia Mason Athletic Center.
Tuesday's 10 a.m. practice will serve as "Turnover Thursday" with Wednesday's 10 a.m. session to be dubbed "No Repeat Friday" and include travel to Denver, Colo., where the Seahawks will meet their Super Bowl XLVIII counterpart Broncos to open exhibition play.
Pharrell, Soundgarden To Perform Prior To Week 1 Kickoff
Grammy Award-winning artists Pharrell Williams and Soundgarden will perform outside Seattle's CenturyLink Field on Thursday, Sept. 4 as part of the 2014 NFL Kickoff presented by XBOX. Their performances will take place prior to the Seahawks' regular season opener against the Green Bay Packers, which kicks off at 5:30 p.m. PT on NBC. Read
