With the Seahawks final preseason game on Thursday night, the team combined Competition Wednesday and Turnover Thursday into one day, hopefully preparing themselves for later in the year when they play on Thursday night in the regular season.
Due to the shortened week, the team doubled up on a Tuesday practice of preseason week four with the themes of "Competition Wednesday" and "Turnover Thursday".
A player-by-player look at the 2015 Seattle Seahawks 75-man roster. The Seahawks must trim their roster to 53 players by 1 p.m. PT on Saturday, Sept. 5.
After the players’ first off day on Monday, the Seahawks held their fourth practice in their Training Camp presented by Bing on Tuesday morning and it attracted another sold-out crowd of 2,500-plus fans, who packed the berm that overlooks the practice fields at Virginia Mason Athletic Center.
The group included a fan since the team’s inception who turned the visit into an extended-family affair, a fan from Snohomish who is a big Russell Wilson fan and 12th Man who has been a fan for 12 seasons.
Accompanied by: a throng – his wife, Janice; his son, David; his daughter-in-law, Kristen; his grandchildren, Ella and Cole; his niece, Allison; his cousin’s son, Peyton; and two friends of his wife, Lilly and Janie.
Fan since: “Since they started in ’76. Some of us have been around awhile.”
Favorite all-time Seahawk: Steve Largent. “Because he was the first real star and a nice guy on top of that. It’s kind of like the average person who did good.”
Favorite current Seahawk: Percy Harvin. “We were at the Super Bowl (in February, when Harvin returned the second-half kickoff for a touchdown). It was really fun. And Percy just kind of lit everything up. We haven’t seen a lot of him, but when he did play he did impressive things.”
Favorite moment in franchise history, other than winning Super Bowl XLVIII in February: “Their first game on ‘Monday Night Football,’ ” he said of the 31-28 victory over the Falcons in Atlanta in Week 10 of the 1979 season. “With (coach Jack) Patera and (kicker Efren) Herrera. It was great.”

Favorite current Seahawk: Russell Wilson. “For the same reason.”
Favorite moment in franchise history, other than winning Super Bowl XLVIII in February: “The game against the Green Bay Packers,” she said of the 14-12 win at CenturyLink Field on “Monday Night Football” in Week 3 of the 2012 season. “Because of the character of the ref.”

Favorite all-time Seahawk: Marshawn Lynch. “Because he works hard. He never goes down. He’s always kind of a true testament of the Seahawks.”
Favorite current Seahawk: Earl Thomas. “Just because he’s reckless,” said Juang, who was wearing a Thomas No. 29 jersey. “He works hard. He’s one of the best safeties in the game.”
Favorite moment in franchise history, other than winning Super Bowl XLVIII in February: “Probably most recent was the tip by Sherman last year,” he said of Richard Sherman’s “Immaculate Deflection” in the end zone to ice the win over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game in January. “It pretty much sent us to the Super Bowl.”
