Seahawks waive/injured DeWayne Cherrington; Sign Brandon Denmark, Steven Terrell
Russell Wilson's first event benefitting his Why Not You Foundation featured the debut of Wilson's very own Costacos Brothers poster. Former Seahawks Steve Largent and Brian Bosworth, who also have their own Costacos Brothers posters, were in attendance and participated in a panel with Wilson, John and Tock Costacos. Renton, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks have waived/injured Dewayne Cherrington and signed linebacker Brandon Denmark and safety Steven Terrell, the club announced this morning.
The 5-foot-10, 197-pound Terrell played at Texas A&M, while the 6-3, 244-pound Denmark played at Florida A&M. Terrell signed with the Houston Texans after the NFL Draft in May, but was waived later that month. Denmark signed with the Green Bay Packers after attending their rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, but later released.
