Kam Chancellor Talks L.O.B.
Strong safety Kam Chancellor recently sat down for an exclusive one-on-one interview with Q13 FOX Sports Director Aaron Levine. In part one, which aired on the station last night, Chancellor talks about his No. 65 ranking on NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2014, how he'll stay motivated coming off a Super Bowl win, and reminisces about the start of the "Legion of Boom."
"We all started out here as rookies and didn't know what we were doing, little snotty-nosed rookies coming out here not knowing what we were doing," Chancellor said of he and his L.O.B. teammates. "But we knew that we had a passion for football and we had a passion for camaraderie. That bond just got real strong and real tight. That's what allows us to be like that on the field, just because of the time we spend off the field." Read
Russell Wilson, 12s Win at Kids' Choice Sports Awards
Quarterback Russell Wilson and Seahawks fans were honored at the inaugural Kids' Choice Sports Awards last night at UCLA's Pauley Pavillion in Los Angeles, Calif.
Wilson took home the award for "Best Newcomer," while 12s earned the "Smells Like Team Spirit"award for best fans. Walterius Jones To Present His Father, Walter, At Pro Football Hall Of Fame
Walter Jones' 14-year-old son Walterius will present the former Seahawks left tackle at the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 2. Jones, a nine-time Pro Bowler during his days in Seattle, will also have his son present the Hall of Fame blazer to him during the Gold Jacket Dinner on Friday, Aug. 1. Read
