Seahawks to Visit Vancouver B.C. on July 4-5

RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks announced today that LB Bruce Irvin, WR Jermaine Kearse, LB Bobby Wagner, WR Bryan Walters and QB Russell Wilson will visit Vancouver B.C. July 4-5 along with members of the Sea Gals, Blitz (the mascot) and Blue Thunder, the team's drum line.
Seahawks fans are invited to participate in the following free activities.
Friday, July 4th
6-10 p.m. Party on the Plaza & Celebrity Flag Football Draft
Jack Poole Plaza 1085 Canada Pl, Vancouver
Seahawks fans of all ages are invited to attend a tailgate themed party featuring interactive displays, contests for fans of all ages including NFL & Seahawks inflatables, football toss, autograph/photo stations, live entertainment, and a screening of the NFL Films feature on the Seahawks Super Bowl season. Fans can also bid on unique items and experiences with proceeds benefiting local charities. Fans will have the opportunity to view the Lombardi Trophy. The evening will also include the second annual Celebrity Flag Football Draft, where Seahawks players will act as general managers of two flag football teams and draft from a pool of local celebrities, athletes and media personalities. The event is free to the public. The Celebrity Flag Football Game will be played the following day in Ambleside Park.

Saturday, July 5th
9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Seahawks Play 60 Family Fest
Ambleside Park in West Vancouver
Fans of all ages are invited to participate in football related activities including games, combine stations and skill tests. The Seahawks Play 60 Family Fest is designed to encourage fans to be more active for at least 60 minutes a day. Other activities include interactive booths and displays from other local sports teams, tailgate food and drink options for purchase, charity auction with unique items and experiences benefiting local charities, flag football tournament (adult co-ed, and youth divisions), live entertainment, autograph/photo opportunities and the event will close with the second annual Celebrity Flag Football game. The Russell Wilson Passing Academy will take place on the artificial turf fields adjacent to the main Play 60 Family Fest area.
9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. 12 North Flag Football Tournament
The tournament features co-ed teams representing partners, local community groups and fans. Limited registration is still available.
12:00 p.m. Celebrity Chef Tailgate Challenge
Some of Vancouver's best chefs will compete to create the ultimate seafood tailgate entree as judged by Seahawks players, Sea Gals and other guest judges.
5:30 p.m. Celebrity Flag Football Game
