Seahawks players reported to Renton's Virginia Mason Athletic Center on Friday to prepare for the start of the team's 2016 training camp, which opens Saturday, July 30 with the first of 13 practices open to the public.
Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane visited Kansas City, Kansas on Wednesday, July 27 to help bridge the fundraising gap for the Della Gill/Joyce H. Williams Shelter for Survivors of Domestic Violence to expand and enhance housing and program capacity for survivors and their children. Renton, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks have signed tight end RaShaun Allen, fourth-round draft choice defensive end Cassius Marsh (108th overall), guard Nate Isles, terminated the contract of tight end Travis Beckum and released cornerback Jimmy Legree, the team announced this afternoon.
Allen and Isles took part in the Seahawks recently completed rookie minicamp from May 16-18, Beckum was signed to a 2014 future contract on February 10 and Legree signed as an undrafted rookie free agent on May 10 following the NFL Draft.
