Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com grades each of the League's 2014 draft classes, giving the Seahawks a B-plus for their efforts. Prisco says, "The Seahawks traded out of the first round to get more picks and did a nice job -- as usual -- with them. General manager John Schneider is a shrewd drafter."
Pete Prisco and Derek Stephens of CBSSports.com grade out the Seahawks' nine draft picks - no pick earned higher than a B-plus and no pick earned a lower than a C-minus.
Bryan Fischer of NFL.com has his draft reaction for all 32 teams, "Another draft in which Pete Carroll gets the guys he wants where he wants. Seahawks Sign Nine Rookie Free Agents
At the conclusion of this year's draft, the Seahawks announced they had agreed to terms with nine undrafted rookie free agents, including former University of Washington quarterback Keith Price. The other eight undrafted rookie free agents include USC strong safety Dion Bailey, Montana linebacker Brock Coyle, Central Arkansas tight end Chase Dixon, Penn State tackle Garry Gilliam, Oklahoma guard Bronson Irwin, Texas defensive end Jackson Jeffcoat, South Carolina cornerback Jimmy Legree, and Eastern Washington defensive tackle Andru Pulu.
